In high latitude area, during the construction of RCC dam, the temperature field and stress field have their rigidity characteristics and rules, so only acknowledging the characteristics and rules could establish relative method to protect the safety of dam.. Generally speaking, RCC gravity dam is made by the method of construct continuousy. In high latitude area, with the frequent cold snap, it easily causes stress field, because the temperature of outside of dam slows down slowly, but temperature raises fast, which will cause temperature crack. The stress field of RCC gravity dam is the main factor to lead to the dam crack, the stresses caused by the other factors are less than temperature stress field, which function is for controlling. According to the analysis, it supplies a certain bases for the design in high latitude area.Based on the heat conduction theory, the FEA theoretical formulas of temperature field and thermal stress are deducted in this paper. The program can carry on the calculation of RCC gravity temperature field and temperature stress field. Through the adoption of finite element software ANSYS and simulation and analysis program to realize the calculation of high latitude RCC gravity temperature field stress field. In this paper, it has a completer analysis during the construction and operation in an area in high latitude. Based on the analysis, it draw a conclusion that the temperature stress field has the impact on dam under the condition, and find some valuable rules and conclusions, so that it will be of use to supply theoretic basis for RCC temperature controlling in high latitude area. |
