"Development on the Technology of System Integration about an automotive Suspension"is a complicated system engineering and involved in many fields of subjects and technologies, such as the Engineering Database, Artificial Intelligence, CAD/CAE, Kinematical and Dynamic Analysis of System, Optimization Design, Experiment and Measurement, and Software Engineering, et. The platform for suspension system integration design include concretely: basal technical materials acquisition and the engineering database system development, the lectotype technique and development of the parameterization design template of suspension system, study on the simulation analysis method of suspensions system performance, study on the analysis method of performance matching between suspension and entire car system, and an elementary development of the platform for suspension system integration design.1. In the thesis, a primary platform has been built up for car suspension system CAD modules, on which it can be put up to improve the original suspension system and design a new suspension. On UG it can be finished to carry out the fast parametric design for main Components of typical suspensions, which include torsion bar wish-bone suspension, Mcpherson suspension, five-link suspension. 2. With car suspension integration system CAD modules and the ADAMS/CAR software, the thesis builds the double wishbone independent front suspension simulation model for CAE, Kinematical and Dynamic Analysis of suspension system.3. For better handling and ride performances, the vehicle suspension design faces two important tasks: one is how to design components of the suspension system, another is with what evaluation parameter andtesting way to evaluate the suspension characteristics. Comparing to the former the latter is more important, for without the reasonable appraisal way and parameters, the good and bad will be meaningless. The thesis elaborates on the vehicle independent suspension kinematics and elasticity kinematics characteristics evaluation parameters and testing method. Here evaluation parameters and test methods was respectively discussed. At the evaluation parameters part, the thesis point out some suspension parameters to evaluate the vehicle independent suspension kinematics and elasticity kinematics characteristics, and give the exact definitions of these parameters, at the same time the thesis endeavors to discuss the changeable characteristics of these parameters and their influences to the vehicle handling performance.4. With ADAMS/CAR software view plat, the thesis simulates the several different experiments for the double wishbone independent suspension assembly systems. The article plots several kinds of curves, and analyze their characteristics with ADAMS/CAR postprocessor plat.
