Science and information is more and more important in the society from the last century. Speech, text and image can carry information. Image information is an important part of information, and the base of image information is modern imaging system. Modern imaging system refers to digital imaging system in which CCD (Charge Coupled Device) /CMOS is used as imaging plane to receive image information.Digital camera has a characteristic of collecting many types of new technologies as a representative of the modern imaging system. According to the requirement of experimental teaching, this thesis provides digital camera system of technology training based on embedded system to meet the teaching request. The system can fulfill the digital image process, DSP technology and embedded operating system and so on. The advantages include:1. Key prominent. As a teaching system, this system is designed for the experimental teaching based on the teaching request. This system focuses on the process of capturing and displaying the picture and the correlative processing and controlling algorithm. A complete picture can be captured and displayed, but the quality of picture is not so excellent.2. Flexible structure. The function parts of the hardware and software are also comparatively independence, so some parts can be added, replaced or cut.3. Knowledge rich. The technologies that are applied to the system include not only digital image processing and DSP, but alsoμC/OS-II, USB and LCDetc.This article firstly provides the project object of the system according to the practical training request. And then introduces the technology related to the system, for instance, analysis of Digital Cameral System, embedded system and digital image processing based on DSP. Finally, this article puts forward the design of the hardware structure and software structure, and analyzes the project's outcome. Up to now, the hardware structure is full, and the software structure should be optimized.
