With the practical use of electronic transducer, It's becoming a hot problemthat how it connects with relay protection, measurement and control device.This paper firstly analyses the composition and characteristics of electronictransducer, IEC6185O and MU, then proposes a realization program thattransformer differential protection connects with MU. Against transformerdifferential protection needing lots of analog parameters, the pager focuses onanalyzing the synchronization problem that MU applies on transformerprotection and realizes the data synchronization within the MUs on transformerthree sides. After test, the synchronization time precision reaches therequirement of transformer differential protection. Against the structurecharacteristic of the full digital protection system, the paper does an analysisand discussion on the dependability of the protection system structure, proposesa structure not only has a better total dependability, but also has a bettereconomy, which provides a viable project that realizes the double configurationfor digital protection. Against the problem that an electric capacity measureerror of transformer differential protection based on MU when the frequencyflows, the paper analyses methods on reducing the error. After emulation, paperproposes a frequency calculation method which has a less error and meets the0.01Hz precision requirement.
