Since each of the road traffic conditions and traffic design standards, so each algorithm have their respective advantages and disadvantages, is not applicable to all the intersections, only to a certain intersection of the study, This makes each method have their limitations, especially in China due to pedestrian and bicycle huge amount of which led to the abnormal traffic congestion, road conditions are extremely complex. Therefore, to find a road that suits China's situation of the intersection traffic signal timing algorithm is necessary.In this paper, many of the existing traffic flow model for systematic analysis indicated their shortcomings, and the improved method. Then discussed in detail a wide range of traditional signal timing algorithm, a summary of the use of the various areas of the algorithm and its advantages and disadvantages, this proposed their own plan of improvement. Then, on this basis, be an improved signal timing programs and signal timing design process. Finally, we improved the application program, devoted to the study of the Zhong Guan Cun East Road and into theintersection of Cheng Fu Road, be measured through various traffic junctions in the data and in accordance with improved signal timing design diagrams, The final results showed improved signal timing program was satisfactory. |
