Urban intersection is an important node in urban traffic network and an important part of road network system.At present,the "sustainable development" of urban transportation and "advocating low-carbon transportation" have become the main strategies of urban development in China.More and more cities begin to advocate green transportation and encourage non-motor vehicle transportation.The proportion of traffic modes at intersections has changed,and the traffic control scheme at intersections has also put forward new demands.Therefore,it is of great significance to scientifically and reasonably study the traffic control optimization scheme of urban road intersections under mixed traffic environment.First of all,through the analysis of the traffic characteristics of mixed traffic,the paper finds out the main reasons for the traffic conflicts at plane intersections under the mixed traffic environment.From the perspective of the intersection traffic organization optimization,the paper analyzes the basic characteristics and spatial and temporal distribution characteristics of traffic participants.An optimization scheme of channelization and signal control at intersections is proposed to improve the safety and time efficiency of traffic travelers.Secondly,considering the time-space characteristic of right-of way allocation,this paper puts forward an optimization scheme of channelization and signal control at intersections aiming at improving the safety of traffic travelers and time efficiency.From the perspective of pedestrian and non-motor vehicle safety,this paper mainly discusses the channelization and phase design method of plane signal intersection with motor vehicle,non-motor vehicle and pedestrian as the object,and puts forward the optimization measures to improve the channelization of intersection.At the same time,the establishment of a comprehensive considering the common interests of motor vehicles,pedestrians and non-motor vehicles,with minimal traveler delay time and motor vehicle parking rate,intersection traffic capacity maximum as the target,the cycle time and effective green light time as the decision variables of the road intersection signal control multi-objective optimization model,and based on the NSGA-Ⅱ to solve the model.Finally,taking an intersection as an example,based on the traffic investigation and analysis,the channelization optimization and phase design scheme are proposed.Determining the performance index of intersection,namely vehicle delay,non-motor vehicle and pedestrian delay,vehicle stopping rate and intersection capacity;The multi-objective model established in this paper and the improved Webster method are used to calculate and analyze the performance index of the plane intersection respectively,and the feasibility of the multi-objective optimization model is verified by VISSIM simulation.On this basis,the optimization scheme of the intersection is determined.The results show that the performance indexes of plane intersections calculated by the multi-objective optimization model established in this paper are better than those calculated by the improved Webster method.The determined multi-objective optimal timing scheme increases the traffic capacity of the intersection in peak hours by 4.45%,and reduces the average delay time of vehicles by 7.69% in flat peak hours,so as to improve the traffic capacity and service level of the intersection.
