| Some appropriate canalization measures and signal timing plan are very important to traffic, which is based on studying and analyzing the current geometrical situation and traffic characteristics of short-distance intersection groups. They can not only reduce the vehicles’ delay at the intersection, but also improve operational efficiency of the short-distance intersection groups.In the optimization process, different canalization methods were corresponded to the different signal timing plans. Combined with the actual status quo of short-distance intersection groups, dynamic multi-objective optimization decision was researched, which the indicators of intersection capacity, delay, queue length and intersection safety were selected as the optimization objective. The best solution was determined by using AHP and verified by VISSIM simulation. During the evaluation, the capacity, delay,queue length were chosen as evaluation indicators of traffic efficiency, which were obtained by SYNCHRO, and potential danger degrees as safety evaluation indicator of the intersection.The simulation results show that the optimal solution obtained by multi-objective optimization decision can effectively raise the traffic efficiency and traffic safety, reduce traffic delays of short-distance intersection groups. The method has a strong practical significance. |
