Rearch On The Historical Buildings In Zhujiajiao, Shanghai

This paper studies the historical buildings prevalently existing in the district of Shanghai Zhujiajiao. On the one hand, to analyze and summarize the characteristics of the historical architecture in the ancient town of Zhujiajiao as a whole through the census of the ancient town; and on the other hand, to explore and settle meticulously those which are existing, more valuable and have not been concerned, then work outing historical building assessments tables and drawing the corresponding mapping table drawings. Meanwhile, we proceed from the typical historical building, in connection with their local geographic and historical background and its cultural identity, from architectural layout, architectural space, architectural structure, architectural elements and details of other aspects, analyze preliminarily the characteristics of a historical building and explore the ancient town of Zhujiajiao, to prepare the needed research information for the future protection and maintenance of historical buildings of Zhujiajiao.Zhujiajiao has a large number of historical buildings; the situation of preservation is very complex. We hopes that from the investigation and documentation of these historical buildings as well as the discovery and recognition of its architectural value to allow more people to pay attention to and understand the protection and restoration of these historic buildings has reached a critical state.
