Studies On The Sociocultrual Structure Of Urban Spatial Axis

Through collecting and analyzing a lot of abundant and detailed documents and files, the article has penetrated the superficial image of the urban spatial axis and goes further to the deep structure layer of such axis, trying to explain the formation and development hidden factors that influence the urban spatial axis. The writer considers that the deep structure of the urban spatial axis can be concluded into four points, i.e. sociocultural structure, economic technology structure, construction environment structure and political strategy structure. The article chooses the sociocultural structure as the main studying objective to discourse the deep factors which affecting the urban spatial axis, from both spiritual and physical sides, and sets up certain theoretical logic frame and assists with the analysis and comparison of typical cases, pertinently anatomizing the sociocultural structure which dominantly reacts on urban spatial axis in the different historical and social background in the west and in the east. Basing on this condition, the article analyzes the difference and similarity of the urban spatial axes in east and west, compares and summarizes the orientation about difference and similarity of different kinds of urban spatial axes, and concludes specific lodestar in allusion to the design of different kinds of axes. So it is made that this article of theory study have methodology meaning in directing practice.
