This paper uses Modelica modeling language to develops an object-oriented power system electromagnetic transient simulation platform, whose model codes are opened .The design of power system electromagnetic transient simulation platform is based on the object-oriented modeling technology, and the models library is constructed according to classification and attribution relationships of devices in real power systems. This paper has built the generators, transmission lines, loads, transformers, connector etc base component models and discrete event control equipments models, such as relay protection, OLTC etc. Finally, using the built component models construct some simulation cases to simulate the electromagnetic transients process of power system, to test and to verify the availability of simulation platform.
