When the switches are operated, EFT(Electrical Fast Transient) often is generated. It is characterized by short rise time, short duration, high voltage amplitude and high repetition. They are serious disturbances of the protection devices. In the substation, this transient electromagnetic environment is more difficult to analyze. This paper simulated EFT/B which can be obtained in this transient electromagnetic environment and extinguishing the arc reignition simulation model. In this transient electromagnetic simulation environment caused by electrical fast burst, electrical fast pulse group is concerned about the no-load transformer isolates formed simultaneously. This paper established inductive and capacitive circuit lines EFT /B simulation model. Theoretical analysis is combined with field practice simulation data to prove inductive and capacitive circuit line though composed EFT / B of the same mechanism. Because of the different nature of load current, and therefore must take different measures for protection. Inductive lines should take certain protective measures(RC protection and MOV arrester), the electric rapid burst can be inhibited to some extent. Capacitive circuit should take shunt reactors are more effective measures.Through simulation, we can get electrical fast burst associated waveforms. Then through the analysis, to take certain protective measures(RC protection), and the use of controlled switching technology that enables rapid burst power can be given some degree of inhibition. The model and the method is proved to be correct and easy to be realized.
