Abstract/Summary:
Production in mould companies is a typical make-to-order and one-of-a-kind of production. The production procedure for die & mould is hard to be controlled because the customers'order is unpredictable and the manufacturing process is not stable, and thus management problems, such as delay of moulds/dies'delivery time and inferior quality of moulds/dies, frequently occurs. In order to enhance the level of management, it is necessary for enterprises to adopt information technology.MES(Manufacturing Execution System)is a management system which orients to workshop layer between ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning ) and PCS(Process Control System). So MES plays a very important role in production management system. As a important part of supply chain management in production management system, the main task of Job-Shop Schedule is to assign resource and arrange production procedure on the production line, including equipment assign, work procedure flow, manufacturing time and so on. This task was performed according the production restriction within a fixed time. By doing this, we can obtain some given schedule object, such as delivery time, product cost and service quality.Considering the production management particularity of mould enterprise, this paper have deeply studied the arithmetic and resolution strategy of Job-Shop Problem(JSP) in mould enterprise, then a hybrid strategy to solve JSP was established based on Hybrid Genetic Algorithm and Hopfield Neural Network (HGAHNN). This arithmetic is applied to the mould MES production management system we have developed. At the same time, the main work flow of mould production procedure was analyzed, and some improvment have been made on it. Based on this, the fuction requirement of mould production management system was fully studied, established the workshop decision support system of this management system. In the end of this paper, the main frame and fuction model of mould production management system was studied.Based on the study above, Management Information System for mould Intensive Production (MIP-MIS) was developed using Visual Basic 6.0 develope tools and SQL Server 2000 date base management system. The last chapter of this paper introduced the work flow and fuction implement of this system. The application of this system in Balda-Everskill Solultion (SuZhou) has obtaind a good result.
