With the passenger dedicated line has been build and the speed of train has been increased, it is very important that passenger dedicated line parameter is monitored. It is effective that using the automatic monitoring equipment, because it not only keep travelling safety, but also defend accident. This system has a lot of characteristics, for example, automatic remote testing, wireless transmission, real-time alert, combined with management system in existence and so on.A image processing based jointless track of passenger dedicated line parameter monitoring system is proposed, and the basic structure and working principles of this system is presented.The basic structure and method of"intelligent electronic eye"which is very important in this system is analyzed. The hardware structure of this equipment and the method of image collection are presented.Median filter, gauss filter, iterative threshold division, deleting small area and thinning are adopted because the image processing method is analyzed. The character of line is accomplished by Hough algorithm. The parameter of line is gotten by comparison.The method and merit of wireless transmission is presented.The transfer between the image coordinate and world coordinate is also discussed in this thesis, and camera calibration experiment has been done but need improving.
