A distributed intelligent control system was implemented to make streak cameras more protable and intelligent,which achieved the monitoring of working parameters,precise control of the electrode voltage and scanning patterns,additionally,image acquisition and processing.Distributed control structure was adopted in this system.We designed the control method of high voltage power supply module,environmental monitoring module,scanning control module and image acquisition and processing module respectively.The system realized multimachine collaboration capabilities about wired and wireless devices extension and mobile monitoring,greatly improving the flexibility and extensibility.Furthermore,an adjustable self-protection high voltage ringing choke converter was designed for the system.The power supply realized the miniaturization by the simply self-excited topological structure,and its linear adjustment accuracy can reach 1%.In image processing and calibration system,an optimized peak extraction with half high width method was used for eliminating the noise effect on the pulse position calibration.According to streak camera calibration method gives the space resolution,dynamic range,calibration,scanning speed and scanning speed nonlinear calibration program implementation.Secondly,in terms of image processing,a contrast stretching algorithm is provided to effectively improve the image contrast.A frequency domain Gaussian High-pass Filter is used for effectively eliminating the background noise in the stripe image.The picosecond visible light streak camera with the intelligent control system was calibrated by the Nd: YLF pulse laser(Wavelength of 526.5 nm and pulse width of 8 ps).A dynamic spatial resolution of 20 lp/mm(CTF = 14%),a dynamic range of 234 : 1,a temporal resolution of 14 ps and a scanning speed nonlinear of 2.9% were reached.
