With the development of UAV inspection technology and the construction of smart grid,more and more experts pay attention to the automatic detection technology of power line broken strand defects.The long-distance power transmission lines in China are mainly made of ACSR.In nature,ACSR is easy to be affected by wind,temperature,foreign matter suspension and other factors,so it is easy to produce local fatigue damage and cause local strand breakage.Traditional line inspection methods,such as helicopter inspection and still inspection,mainly use various equipment to observe the transmission line manually.The work intensity of the staff is very high,the inspection efficiency is low,and the inspection quality is low.Therefore,the research on automatic detection method of broken strand of transmission line has great practical significance.In this paper,the real-time detection system of broken strand fault of transmission line is studied.By using embedded system,image processing,wireless communication,target recognition and other technologies,the detection terminal of broken strand fault of transmission line based on image processing is designed.The main work of this paper is as follows:1.Pre-processing of transmission line images: Due to the complex background of transmission line images and the noise interference experienced by drones in image acquisition,in order to obtain better fault detection results,the image needs to be pre-processed first.The pre-processing process of transmission line image is to first use the method of segmented linear transformation to enhance the contrast of the transmission line image,then to filter the transmission line image by using the filtering method based on small wave transformation,and finally to use the improved Canny operator to detect the edge of the filtered transmission line image.The pre-processing of the transmission line image can enhance the contrast between the transmission line and the image background in the image while reducing the noise interference in the image,obtain the reliable edge detection effect,and lay a reliable foundation for the extraction of the transmission line.2.Transmission line extraction method research: transmission line extraction in image is always a difficult problem.In this paper,a line extraction method based on region growing algorithm and Hough transform is proposed.Aiming at the shortcomings of the traditional Hough transform,the random Hough transform is used to detect the lines,and the region growing algorithm is used to connect the lines.Finally,the transmission line is identified according to the geometric and radiation characteristics of the image.This method can extract and identify the transmission line with higher accuracy and efficiency,and keep the edge information of transmission line completely,which lays a good foundation for the detection of broken strand of transmission line.3.Research on the detection and identification methods for the characteristics of power transmission line breaks.Firstly,the transmission line in the image is extracted by using the transmission line extraction method based on random Hough transformation and area growth algorithm,then the fault fault intersection of the transmission line in the image is detected by target pattern matching,and finally,the gradient information of the edge point at the fault of the transmission line in the image and the grayscale information of the pixel point are used to determine whether there is a fault at the intersection.The simulation results show that the method has the advantages of good detection effect,strong noise resistance and high efficiency in transmission line fault detection.4.The hardware design of the transmission line inspection system based on image processing is given.The hardware of the modules that make up the transmission line inspection system based on image processing is introduced in detail.This paper introduces the hardware design of each module of the transmission line inspection system based on image processing,including the image acquisition module based on CCD camera,the video coding module,the broken stock detection module and the hardware design of the GPRS communication module.
