The Automatic Meter Reading System Based Wireless Communication

Intelligentize architecture based information technique is a feature of modern city in information ages. Thereinto, measuring electricity energy, meter reading and charge managing are important parts of intelligentize architecture and automatic bulding. How to measure electricity energy arcurately affects the advance management mode of power company. Amrs has many advantages such as measuring accurately, antijamming, economizing human resource in electric power area. But the products that have been arisen in market have some defects. In this paper, we reserched the theory of amrs, analysed thedefects of current amrs and provided a new resolvent that elevated the measure precision, transfersed data through credible wireless networks,improve efficiency through excellent system software.First, we introduced advanced IC chip CS5460 to develop intelligentized meter, which can measure the voltage, frquency, power and transfers the data under the control of MCU.Second, we introduced wireless network between meter nodes and relay nodes, which let maintenancing system, examining trouble, extending system be easy.Third, we packed the data based SMS coding rule, adopted SMS of GSM o transfers data, accepted intermit mode instead of quenry mode, in order to shorten the resposed time of AMRS.At last, data were stored in database. AMRS software can measure and transfers the data of meter. We can deal with the data through software.
