The human beings figure the environment, and the environment also figures the human beings. The influence between the environment and the humanity is bidirectional. At a high speed of development for universities in Chongqing, there appear some blindly constructions, which neglects the symbiotic relationship between the students'behavior and the campus environment, and puts universities'environment of Chongqing into the danger of losing vigor. Therefore, this article mainly analyses the interrelationship of students'behavior and the environment, making modern universities' material environment as the foundation of research and university students as the research object. It puts the characteristic of students'behavior as the basic point which can instruct the environment design, and attempts to construct an environmental design system which can stimulate the environmental vigor of universities in Chongqing. In a word, this article has an important meaning to the completion and upgrading of the universities'environment in Chongqing in new period.First, this article sums up the development of universities'environment in Chongqing, and analyzes the status quo and development of current environmental construction of universities in Chongqing by using the method of classifying and summing up. Then, according to the space characteristics of campus environment, it analyses the factors which can influence the environmental vigor from the angle of environmental psychology and outside space design theory. And combining the environmental characteristics of Chongqing, it analyzes the student's behavior pattern according to the physiologically or psychological demand characteristics which display in the students'behavior. Through spot observing, questionnaire, visiting and some others methods, it draws up the law of people's spirit and impressions of the psychology. Finally, according to analysis of student's behavior pattern, it thinks deeply trying to find the generality principle , special element and individual character strategy to stimulate environmental vigor of universities in Chongqing.
