Research And Optimization On The Reliability Of Satellite PSK Demodulation Circuit For Remote Control

This task started from the project called "The Research and Optimization on The Reliability of Satellite Demodulation Circuit for Remote Control", which belongs to the CAST (China Academic of Space and Technology). Remote control is very important on satellite. It is used to receive the remote order and data from the ground. If the satellite conked out, remote control would be the only way to mend. So its reliability is required highly, up to 0.99. If there was any problem on the remote control part, we must find out the reason and solution, improve and validate it, so as to enhance the reliability.The purpose of the task was: Studying and analyzing the problem of demodulation part, validating the unsure parts, finding out the weakness, bringing forward the advice, raising the product level, ensure the reliability. The work mainly had four parts:1) Using the EDA tools, simulate the demodulation circuit, such as transient simulation, parameter analysis. Validating the circuit design, and guiding the production.2) Find out the weakness, optimizing the demodulation circuit from design, debugging validating and testing method. Carry out the optimized demodulation board.3) Some part of the current demodulation circuit is actualized by analog circuit, which quality is influenced by debugging a lot, and is not fit for quality control and quantity production, hard for miniaturization and integration, so we have to design a new digital demodulation circuit based on the same theory, carrying out the same performance.4) Test the key index of the optimized analog demodulation circuit and the new designed digital demodulation circuit, and validate the improvement.
