| Along with increasingly dramatic competition of modern automobile industry, automobile enterprise need devote to establish itself competitive advantage by upgrading rapid response capacity and strengthening innovation capacity. Collaborative design is an important research area and applications direction of collaborative work. Collaborative design enable automobile enterprise shorten design cycles, reduce design costs and enhance efficiency to adapt to the increasingly dramatic competition of modern automobile industry.Collaborative design facing one of the key issues is the urgent need to resolve how to manage the isomerization data in the system. STEP which is designed to the sharing of information between the various departments is not only the international standards of product data definition and exchange, but also one of the important tools for information integration of traditional manufacturing model. However, shortcomings of large volume of data verification, not suitable for real-time transmission limit its performance in the network environment. Because XML has the characteristics of good data storage format, expanded, highly structured and facilely network transmission to enable it to compensate for the lack of STEP in the network environment.Based on the concept of collaborative design, with the combination of XML and STEP , this thesis propose a STEP-XML-based automobile collaboration design system with distributed architecture.First, we use STEP to integrate CAD systems of automobile enterprise and establish a complete 3D model. based on the use of technology of STEP-XML, describe the original STEP data format with XML format. Automobile enterprise product life cycle documents are available for sort, store, and rapidly transmit through the network, and the XML format is checked by XML Schema which defined by the automobile plant.Then, this thesis provide cross-sectoral collaboration design services through XML Web services technology, establish virtual automobile enterprise entrance information website, re-planning the virtual automobile enterprise work to provide the required information platform for automobile enterprise in the car project management to precisely control vehicle design related information. This will not only improve efficiency, but also increase convenience. |
