| This paper provided a detailed stress characteristic and structure analysis of a segmented pressurized skirt and a leaning cone. Manufactures, designers and users can have further understanding of the equipment through the analysis. Therefore , this study has certain engineering application value.In this paper , the engineering application of the skirt was systematically investigated at first. Cone-shaped subsection skirt and cone-shaped skirt were analyzed by ANSYS software. Calculational result indicated that: adopting the former style can save material, space and reduce the SINT value of high-stress areas, so this kind of skirt has the practied value to be used more extensively.In this paper, the engineering application of the leaning cone was systematically investigated at first.
