A port tyre crane has various parts and complex structure,which is made up plenty of beam-bar and shell elements,Manual calculation can not guarantee the precision while Finite Element Method needs onerous structure modeling and a great deal of date input.The finite element analysis and modeling of the port tyre crane are difficult because of complex structure and various loads.In order to fit further more design and exploitation of the same type as well as the upgrade of the production I study a kind of parametric software for structure analysis of the port tyre crane,it can reduce the difficulty of modeling and structure analysis as well as improve efficiency.Through deeply comprehending the theory of structure calculation of the crane and secondary development technology,especially how to realize the method of structure analysis and calculation of the port tyre crane,I succeed in parameterized finite element modeling of the port tyre crane body and boom based on APDL.The platform parametrically builds finite element model of the port tyre crane and carrys out mechanics analysis.It has many virtues such as simple application,visualized modeling, rapid analysis,low request for the hardware computer,and no over-high requirement for many persons about the knowledge of the structure analysis and the ability of program.This platform has a friendly,simple and easy manipulating interface,a complete and accurate FEM calculation model is obtained through the controlling parameters of the jib,the crane body which the users input . Users needn't establish the model themselves.Through the verification of practical engineering projects, the program afforded by this article is simple and easy to use, as well as accurate and reliable.
