Rotating unbalance is a major source of harmful vibration affecting rotating machines. Auto-balancing technology allows adjustment of a machine's balance state while the machine continues to operate, so it has practical value in practice .The project described in this thesis is a part of the National Nature Science Foundation project "The study of fault self-recovery regulation and control principle based on the process equipment complex system" (serial number of the project: 50375014). The selected thesis focuses mainly around the principles of auto-balancing for rotating machines , experiment and engineering applications of electromagnetic auto-balancing system.The main works could be summarized as follow: (1) The state of the art and tendency of the auto-balancing technology are reviewed and the significance is discussed. (2) The dynamics principle and basic theory of dynamic balance and auto-balance are studied.
