The main reason of causing the vibration of rotating machinery is the unbalancing rotor. So the strict dynamic balance on the rotor is necessary in its manufactory and use. With the development of the technology, there are also great improvements of computer science and testing science. It gives the technology of auto-balancing a big impetus. Therefore, traditional instruments have been leaded to virtual instruments with the combination of the computer and instrument.In this paper, we combine the technique of virtual instrument and the digital signal processing. And we builded an auto-balancing system of rotor based on LabVIEW and multi-functional rotor test-bed. This system has the ability of computing the unbalance of the rotor and controlling the equipments to balance it. And it will be used to flow line prodection. We use the test-mass method and correlation analysis to compute the unbalance of the rotor respectively. Also, we utilize the Chauveret rule to wipe off irregular peak and calculate the average of regular peak. In order to test the accuracy of the system, we compare the result with the Ang Zheng system. We designed the electrical circuit and the method that how to add the mass in order to control the emitter and balance the rotor.
