The subject of this studying is a prestressed space composite trass: It is composed of reinforced concrete floor, prestressed tight wire acting as tensile string, and the steel tube acting as pressure venter bar. So the composite structure is a typical cross system with the twoability-rigidity and flexibility.As a new type structure, there were no reports and literature of the relevant studies on prestressed space composite trass at present. This paper mainly focused on some basic research as follows:(1) ANSYS finite element calculation software and the APDL design language were used to set up two model structures—the reinforced concrete floor model and the prestressed space composite trass model. The properties of the two deferent structures were analyzed, including nonlinear static analysis, model analysis and nonlinear dynamic analysis under vertical variable force. By the contrast with the results of the two deferent structures, some theoretical conclusions were drawn.(2) Base on the model analysis method of ANSYS finite element calculation software, the effect caused by deferent parameters on the free vibration properties of the prestressed space composite trass were dicussed. The parameters including drag-span ratio of cable, the value of prestressing force, the thick of reinforced concrete floor, the cross area of tightwire and the number of prestressed tight wire. At the end of the chapter, some suggestions were listed.(3) One reinforced concrete floor experimental model and one prestressed space composite truss experimental model were made. Based on the static and dynamic testing, the mechanical characteristics of the deferent structures were discussed. By the contrast with the theoretical results and the testing results, in the end of the paper, some beneficial suggestions were listed which can be used as advice for the relevant engineering.To sum up, with the advantages of rational force-transfer manner, the legerity feature and the economy merits, the prestressed space composite trass discussed in this paper deserve further studying, and it is worth of extending the application.
