To ensure the extremely high reliablity of power system, performance test and authentication of high-voltage switch which will be operated in practical are needed as an important procedure for a quality guarantee. High-voltage synthetic circuit which is a kind of economic and effective test equipment works very well in breaking ability test for high-voltage switch. In order to improve the success rate of synthetic circuit test system, domestic and overseas institutions always study the methods of synthetic test constantly, and use advanced computer technology, electronic measure technology and information processing technology to promote and improve the measuring and controlling level of equipments.With the aim of promoting the success rate of synthetic circuit test system in the course of updating the equipments of laboratory, high-voltage synthetic circuit is renovated to realize its intelligent running and monitoring functions. In this paper, high-power system, control system and communication system are introduced as three main parts.The high-power system including main circuit, the charging and discharging circuit of synthetic circuit test system, and the principle of charging and discharging for current supply using electrolytic capacitor is presented. At the aspect of circuit breaker control, the advanced permanent magnetic actuator is used and analyzed in this paper, including the precision computation and using in synthetic circuit. The trigger circuit of voltage supply is designed, and the intelligent control is used to trigger the igniting gap. And the integraph based Rogowski coil is designed and employed the intelligent detection of breaking current. The control operating console and the operating standard and operating steps of the console is introduced in the control system. The control system based on the PLC that has high-speed counter and anti-interfere function is designed and used in the synthetic circuit to carry the intelligent control, then the control program of the PLC is designed and improved. The communication system programmed with Visual Basic is designed and used between computer and PLC, and data monitor online and test parameter's amending are realized by sending commands from computer to PLC to control reading or writing. The friendly communication interface and intelligent study function of expert system are provided, which is convenient for the experiment operator to study the knowledge and accumulate experience.In the alteration of synthetic circuit test system, a lot of work is also done to debug and check fault, and many effective analyses are applied into the test results. Many judgmentmethods of successful or failing reasons are summed up, which will provide the practical experience for later experiments. This system also is convenient for the system transplant.The intelligent running and monitoring of synthetic circuit test system is realized by the work above. This test system not only consummates and improves the test capability of synthetic circuit, but also provides consult and reference for other high voltage experimental systems which intend to the intelligentized direction.
