Humanzied Design Of Urban Public Space

Human nature is unification of human's nature and sociality. The design view of humanization used in design has specific meaning and extension. Humanization in this paper is the thought of design which the major ideas is advancing human's value, respecting human's natural and social needs and meeting increasing demand on material and culture in the category of design culture. Essentially, the design view of humanization is regarding human as core when considering the design problems. Now that city landscape environmental main point is human as root, it must embody the human care and organize all elements to utilize and experience. Human environment means that human can acquire the feeling of kindness, comfort, easiness, pleasure, dignity, quiet, safety, freedom and activity in the city landscape environment. It emphasizes the experiences, i.e. whether environments are humanized depends on the judgments from experiences after the environments are tally constructed. It is obvious that the apprehension to landscape environment humanization need further improvement. Luo researcher in Hunan Academy of Building Research thinks there are three aspects judging the humanization of city landscape environment. Firstly, meeting the ecologic environment requirements of the whole city because a city's environmental system provides outdoors leisure, entertainment and exercises as well as balances civic developments, adjusts strength of land use, prevents disasters and cleans pollution. Secondly, the city landscape environment must have human criterion. All urban open spaces are tangible with different shape and size and every space is composed by many little spaces which spatial scales' humanization is directly related to spatial quality and the formation of atmosphere. Thirdly, place spirit of city landscape environment. Increasingly developing science and technology almost can internationalize everything, but can not change a city's landform, physiognomy, climate and history. So urban developing space embodies mostly its regional characteristics.Design is sensitive, so, a designer only with more sensitive observation than average people can find problems in matter of course and convert experiences in life to creative inspiration. Design master said that our thought is gradually away frompure functionalism and more focus on aesthetic sense and expression of artistry.
