The Computer-Dided Design System of the open-air blasting engineering is one of the advancing front problems in the realm of the engineering blasting. In this paper the earth and rock project is taken the main research direction, with the knowledge of cubic meter on the blasting theory about earth and stone engineering and the hydraulic engineering cubic meter of earth and rock blasting standard, as well as already the mature blasting technical knowledge and the existing actual project blasting example; Uses Visual Basic to develop the platform and unifies Microsoft Access, the SQL language and Win32 API function etc. We set up all kinds of knowledge database, for example, the foundation petrography classification database, the rock physics parameter database, the explosive classification database, blasting parameter database and so on. In accordance with the principles and methods of the system, it comes into being some inference mechanism and optimizes the mode of blasting, detonation parameter and prediction the effect of blasting, etc. Taking advantage of Visual Basic's powerful function, we develop the automatic drawing procedure with the amity windows operates interface and operating convenience replaced the painting of handcraft and with the AutoCAD, raise the efficiencies of the work, satisfy the request of design well and realize the synchronous design about the blasting engineering. It builds the data processing system, and carries out the flexible output of the result of the system in order to check the similar conditional engineering and be used as the reference of design. In the end, the software can be applied to effectively collect the related project parameter, and through this system analysis and reasonable comparison, it can be realized the project demolition design.
