With the development of the transportation and the technology, especially theuniversal application of the engineering explosives, the scale of construction of thehighway tunnel has got an unprecedented development. Because smooth blastinghighway tunnel blasting technology can make less damage to the surrounding rock,and it applicable to a wide range of technical advantages, which can effectivelyreduce the overbreak phenomenon, this technology has been more widely used.Accordance with the traditional design method, the designer needs to bedetermined by virtue of the empirical formula of blasting parameters, then check andmodify the blasting parameters manually. at last, they had to draw the figures bythemselves. This not only waste time, but also can not guarantee the quality of theproject, and it may affect the safety of the tunnel construction, quality, cost andduration seriously. The development of computer technology in the field of blastingmade it possible for the optimization of the design of the highway tunnel smoothblasting. Design artificially is slow and low accuracy, using the computer’s high-speedcomputing power and storage capacity can effectively solve it. Using the computer todevelop a road tunnel smooth blasting design system, the application of computertechnology in blasting project will have significant value in engineering. It willgreatly promote the development of China’s tunnel industry.Most of the domestic road tunnel smooth blasting design is based on the lessonslearned in the past formula to calculate. Most of the domestic road tunnel smoothblasting design is based on the lessons learned in the past formula to calculate,different blasting conditions make that kinds of empirical formula and parametersselection is very different. In the face of a wide variety of empirical formulas, theselection and determination of parameters and the design formulas often make peoplefeel at a loss. Based on the analysis of previous empirical formula from the tunnelengineering practice, our college summed up a more appropriate design of actualhighway tunnel smooth blasting method:"Comprehensive analysis". This paper use "comprehensive analysis" as the theoretical basis of the system,by the use of VisualBasic6.0programming language to make the programming design system interface,and then using the AutoCAD secondary development of technology, OLE (objectlinking and embedding) technology design and develop the Highway Tunnel SmoothBlasting Design System. Enter a part of the necessary parameters, the system is ableto conduct calculation of the parameters by itself, and then use "comprehensiveanalysis" to draw blasthole layout plan automatic, the final output of the results aresome description documents and a blasthole layout plan.After using the system to actual engineering design,i found that the system’sinterface is friendly, and the system is also very easy to operate, and the generatedpattern is clarity and fruitful. To the design of the site blasting this system is able toplay the role of guidance and support, and it has achieved the intended purpose.
