Study And Design Evaluation Of Ward Based On Ergonomics

The psychological requirement of the role, patient is analyzed in terms of man-machine engineering, sociology based on ergonomics and the prerequisite of holding the environmental characteristic of the ward systematically, and people (the medical personnel and patient), machine, environment and their interrelations are researched. The relations among the psychological requirement, environment and behavior of the ward user are further studied according to the research of the behavior mode of the ward. Which Is supply ward environment design with some basic parameter to try to offer reference for ward environment design of the hospital. As follows:1. Hospital is a social system, The patient that lives in ward has special behavior pattern, Which can result in "limit effect". Which is a factor that must be considered in carrying out ward environmental design.2. The way of arranging of sickbed, the entire layout of ward, the environmental color of ward and ventilation and the lighting of ward can affect its treatment function, which will be considered when carrying out ward environmental design.3. Ward not only has treatment function, but also has residential function.4. A set of basic parameter about ward environmental design are gained in term of analysis of patient physiological, psychological condition and behavior pattern based on ergonomics principal. Ward layout, ward scale, ward space and facility, ward furniture (bed, bed cupboard, chair, table, door, window and balcony), Corridor and toilet (squat ware, urinal and net ware) and other ward supplementary equipment are analyzed and evaluated basically. Chair, door, corridor and toilet are mainly into consideration.
