Research On The Inspecting, Appraising And Strengthening Method Of Existing Building

Presently China launches constructions on both building and maintaining other than only large-scale constructing. There are many important structures which cannot be simply removed due to their locations, cultural history and some other causes, so the demands of restoring and reconstructing blow up recently. The structural mechanics of them result in the difficulties in the analysis and design of there storing procedure. Meanwhile, the reconstruction is much more difficult than building due to the complicated conditions.In combination with the strengthening and reforming of "Maozedong thought victory long live" exhibition house, the detailed analysis and research are carried out deeply in the paper for strengthening and reforming for structural system. Based on the whole examination of the material characteristics, the structure forming and structure system, defects and damage of structure elements, the structure situation, the load characteristics and level are discussed, and the strengthening and reforming scheme are proposed by inspecting results. Finally, the reformed structure is then analyzed by means of SAP2000 procedure for static analysis. According to the analysis, the strengthen and stiffness of the reformed structure are met the criterion.It is shown the strengthening and reforming of structural system have outstanding results and social beneficial results. The results have some lessons and reference value for other similar structures.
