Hydraulic power system is one of the power systems which widely used in the kinds of machinery. Predecessor had done lots of works on fault diagnosis and widely used back-propagation, but its algorithm is sample and its construction is not rational. And it often makes mistakes because it lacks filtration and sample converse data. Others want to raise diagnosis precision by combination with a few different methods, but it need more time, make different conclusions, and realize difficultly. The most important is that these methods lack study ability. If the new fault happens, system doesn't find and warn the user. So it is main reason why accident often happens. An integrated system is built including inspection, diagnosis and management of hydraulic system based on adaptive resonance theory in the paper.Gathering experiences and knowledge of predecessor working, and researching expert systems and adaptive resonance theory, a knowledge database and systems frame is constructed by VC++ language. Being method of adaptive resonance theory, systems arithmetic velocity is raised, and being study ability of adaptive resonance theory, systems accuracy is grown, too. Because systems have complete frame, others can add his experiences and knowledge to systems. So system's knowledge is enriched, and system's ability is improved.By analyzing motor fault diagnosis at the end of article and comparing diagnosis conclusion between adaptive resonance theory and back-propagation, the systems fully test and verify that it can overcome lacking knowledge problem. At last, by expert systems, adaptive resonance theory can apply to practice, and expert systems based on adaptive resonance theory have vast development prospects.
