Being the important component in the space, the exhibition facilitiesin museum environment have been utilized extensively. The exhibitioncounter is the most complicated and important part in the facilities.This paper was stressed on the thorough discussion of exhibition counteron form, function requirements, the methods and procedures of design.It explained rather entirely the design of exhibition counter on itsexhibition, protection, operation and safety, synthesized the relevantstandards and criteria systematically. In addition, the paper hadverified the above-mentioned concepts and methods through theimplementation and analysis on two engineering cases so as to providea convenient approach for the design of exhibition facilities in museum.
