One of the main causes of these problems is that the construction of city road network cannot meet the increasing requirement of urban transport demand. Another cause is the modal imbalance of urban transport. The preferential development of urban public transit will be propitious to solve the congestion of city traffic and improve the quality of environment. And common public transport, which relies mainly on buses, is the emphasis of developing urban transport. But recently, the development of it has been slowed down because of problems, such as low speed, low level of information service. So the bus traffic cannot develop swimmingly. So to build the bus information network is the key to solving the urban transport problems.A way of design is brought forward about bus information service system based on radio frequency transmission in this paper, compared to some advantages and disadvantages of researching public networks. All the Bus Information Service System based on radio transportation realizes wireless communication between the bus and the electronic station equipment and cable data switch between stations and stations. The form of radio and wireless can reduce interferes on data transportation and make the system work credibly.The bus information service system based on radio transportation needn't apply special network, but constitutes network and setup communication protocol by itself, so that the cost about communication of data can be decreased at large. According to applying the form of Polling, the system can be avoided the impact between dates. Making use of GPS receiver can make the system accomplish the ability of automotive bus stop announcing system and display position things of bus closest to the station equipment, so that the system can be supported convenience for passengers at most.Creating bus information service system is the foundation of developing intelligent transportation system in China. The transportation system industry based on advanced transportation information will be one of the most influential industries in 21st century. The significance of this paper is to create a favorable transportation information systemthrough the research on bus information service system so that it can be provided convenient and smooth going and fulfill demands of the future development.
