Design Of Intelligent Water Meter Based-on Contactless IC Card

With the deepening reform and opening up, traditional water charging system in use manual-observed water monitoring system is not suit for the requirement. With the development of electronic technology and communication technology, various automatic meter reading systems have emerged as the times require. The contactless IC card for water meter system is one of the automatic meter reading systems. Taking the automatic meter reading technology as the background and the reseach object is for the intelligent water meter, this paper launches the research on the intelligent water meter base on contactless IC card, it used high performance microprocessor as the core, adopted RFID technology and some information security strategies. Main research achievements are as follows:According to the design needs of the intelligent water meter, the overall technical blue print is studied. This paper has taken a deep research and discussing on the water collection technology, the control technology of intelligent water meter and the charging method.The hardware system of the intelligent water meter with the embedded microprocessor ARM as the core is realized. The development and design of intelligent water meter hardware platform, the hardware design of the water collection module, the control module and the charging module have been finished.The software design of the intelligent water meter has been finished. Based on the ARM software research platform, used C language programming. Considering the special application background of the intelligent water meter, the overall idea of the software design was raised.The research on the information security of the intelligent water meter has been done. The dynamic change of the user card key and the update of the primary system key have been realized.After tested by practice, the intelligent water meter based on contactless IC card has met the request of the basic technical request of intelligent water meter.
