Urban Planning And Land Use In The Process Of Rapid Urbanization

Rapid urbanization is a phase many cities in our country are experiencing or will experience in the near future. In this phase, discrepancy between planning objection and actual land use is a common phenomenon. How to find a solution to this question is a research focus. In this background, the author selects Baoan Zone of Shenzhen City as a research case, and expects the research can be representative and used for reference.The dissertation is divided into theory study and case study. In the theory study part, the author enumerates related research paper homeland and outside, which is used as theory base for the coming research. In the case study part, the author first introduces the basic information of Baoan Zone of Shenzhen City, including the history of urban development, urban planning and land use. Secondly, the author describes the existing problems of urban development and land use of Baoan Zone, and explains the reason of these problems. Then the author brings forward some new planning thoughts and methods from aspects of the function of urban planning, improvement of urban planning, the relationship of urban planning and other planning types. Finally, on the base of the Eleventh Planning of Baoan Zone and the Future Urban Planning of Shenzhen City(2006 ~ 2010), the author presents some detailed planning actions.The whole research follows the process of "from find problems to analyze problems and to resolve problems" . The author expects the dissertation can deeply describe the exsiting urban planning problems of Baoan Zone in the process of rapid urbanization, and gives some advice on how to improve planning method to strengthen the function of urban planning in the aspect of urban construction and land use.
