Ecological Zone In Hangzhou In The Context Of Rapid Urbanization Planning Studies

With the rapid economic development of China, the pace of urbanization is accelerating. Under the rapid urbanization process, there are more and more city problems:land use of urban built-up areas has become tighter, the shortage of available land for construction, the phenomenon of urban sprawl become more serious, extensive economic growth bring resource consumption and environmental damage during the rapid process of urbanization. Urban sprawl has brought two conflicts: growth in demand for urban land use conflicts with the limited land resources, urban development conflicts with urban ecological environment protection. Under the promotion of "resource saving", "environmental friendly" of our society, how to keep economic development and protect ecological environment at the same time has become a hot issue. Urban planning methods had to face the changing needs, in order to be effective guidance of sustainable urban development. During the rapid urbanization, how to effectively control the spread of disorder construction from the perspective of urban planning, so that cities can meet the growing needs of urban land coming with the rapid economic growth under the pressure of limited land resources.This paper points out the contradiction between the land use growth of urban sprawl and the limited land resources, urban development and urban ecological environment protection. Firstly it studied the related theories of ecological subzone planning, such as urban ecological planning, urban green belts and Urban growth boundaries. Then clarify the purpose and contents of ecological subzone planning and aims to guide the development of our cities. Secondly, it summarizes the definition of ecological subzone planning, and its basic functions, as well as important issues need to be solved, the planning principles. Finally, with the southeast Hangzhou as the example, it used ecological suitability evaluation to determine the ecological function zoning and propose control requirements. Then analyses the needs of this area's economic development, points out the direction of ecological subzone, and makes the land use planning, and provides management policy recommendations to promote sustainable development in this region.With urban ecological subzone in Southeast Hangzhou as an example, it discusses the planning methods of urban ecological zone based on ecological suitability evaluation. By ecological suitability evaluation of this zone, it analyzes its land use pattern and divided the ecological subzone into three different functional zones, advising for the land use of Southeast Hangzhou, giving some policy recommendations. It has a good reference value for the study of urban ecological subzone to give some advice and recommends for the control of urban sprawl and the comprehensive management of land use.
