Decision Research On Cheng-yu Expressway In Chongqing Pavement Maintenance

In 1988, Shaihai Hujia expressway was put into service, which made a break through of zero on the mainland. In the next 15years, with china's fast development of social economy, the expressway on the mainland makes a rapid progress. Till the end of the 2003, the total mileage of the expressway has rise up to 30 thousand kilometers, occupying the second place in the world. Like the other expressways, Chengyu expressway not only faces the competition pressure came from other traffic lines, but also, with service time of the expressway passing by, various pavement diseases begin to emerge. It is of great needs to win over passengers in the fierce competition, keep a good performance and make the best use of the expressway for economic value and social value. Thereby, how to promote the decision-making quality of the management and maintenance department was put into focus. Because the universality of the problem, decision research on expressway pavement maintenance have the same reference value for other expressways.The paper first briefly introduces the development status of the expressway in our country, the maintenance status quo inland and the condition of Chengyu expressway. Then use the tools such as management science, management economics, probability and statistics, project economy, operational research, fuzzy mathematics to do a research on the scientific decision-making scheme of the expressway pavement maintenance in competition status. After that, the traffic flow characters under the jam condition is analyzed and the related control method and thought is presented.
