Because of the economy development and the standard of living improvement, the automobile possession quantity has been rising continuously as the same as the road traffic volume. As a result, the traffic accident death rate increases constantly too. The absolute number of the Chinese road traffic accident death has already occupied the first in the world for many years, as the same time, it is rising at a high speed. There have been about 84 thousand people dying of traffic accidents in 1999, 92 thousand people in 2000, 104 thousand people in 2001, 109 thousand people in 2002, 105 thousand people in 2003. Although the China automobile possession quantity only accounts for about 2% of the whole world, the death amount accounts for 15% in the same period. The pedestrian impacted by vehicle accounts the high rate in our country traffic accident, about 27%. In these accident, the head injury, neck injury and curare injury accounts 70% of the sum dandification. The head and neck department damage is the main reason that cause personnel's death. The expert predicts that Chinese road traffic accident death rate will wander up and down in such high position during the following ten years. At the present, the mix traffic is the realities of our country. It will be exist for a long time. This characteristic determines to have very important meanings to launch pedestrian's security research work in our country.Based on the multi-body system, the work research the injury index of the mathematics models of pedestrian, by simulating the motion of the pedestrian impacted by vehicle using ADAMS. Compared with the article published, verify the dependability of this simulated test. Based on the dependability, Carry on sensitivity analysis to design parameter of the automobile. Research on the pedestrian protection by the vehicle by revising the sensitive design parameter. By simulating the pedestrian impacted by the vehicle which installing the hood raise structure, search on the injury index. Compared with the original injury index, we can find that the hood raise structure be propitious to the pedestrian. At the same time, the design does not destroy the original vehicle frame.After joining WTO, the auto industry of our country faces the challenge of the world auto industry. The research on the vehicle safety should integrate with the world. Combining the road traffic situation of our country and develop trend of the vehicle safety research in the world, probe into the pedestrian safe protection development strategy which accords with the national conditions of our country; make the corresponding safe protection regulation; standardize the design method of the automobile; Improve the test level of the automobile. Thus make the integral level of the automobile technology of our country keep up with the development of the automobile technology in the world.
