The head and chest injuries of pedestrians in human-vehicle collision accidents are the main causes of death,the lower limb injuries are the main causes of pedestrian disabilities,and because the main vehicle structures that cause pedestrian injuries are concentrated in the front end of the vehicle,so it is of great significance to study how to optimize the front end structure of the vehicle to improve the protection of pedestrians.In this paper,the pedestrian and vehicle simulation model in the collision accident was established firstly.Through the simulation of the pedestrian and vehicle collision accident,the impact of the collision Angle,the collision speed and the pedestrian movement attitude on the injury of the pedestrian body parts were analyzed.And then analyzes the present situation of the pedestrian safety research at home and abroad and the latest technology,proposed a method of using airbags to lift the engine cover,to make up in collision accident engine cover to reduce the damage degree and the original model car lifting airbag model is set up on the lift the engine cover,the simulation results show that using pneumatic lifting device lift the engine cover,the pedestrian model head damage HTC has fallen by 78.9%;The maximum composite acceleration of the chest decreased by 32.92%,which could well reduce pedestrian injury.The last reference to traffic accident in the car airbag for occupant protection,put forward the method of adding airbags in the front bumper,to reduce the collision of the pedestrian leg injury,in the original car model in front bumper airbag,the simulation results show that front bumper airbag make pedestrian right calf maximum bending moment absolute value by 20.27%;The absolute maximum bending moment of the right thigh was reduced by 37.14%,which could greatly reduce the lower limb injury.The study of this paper is a helpfull probe of pedestrian safety protection technology in China.The pedestrian injury factors and pedestrian safety protection technology methods summarized in collision accidents can supply consults and help for further research on pedestrian safety protection in China.
