With the development of computer technology, the automatical level of many industries is continually improving. At present, the code package used for nuclear power unit reload design by Nuclear Power Institute of China is from France. A lot of Chinese design documents are needed, so a great lot of local work also is needed. Thus it delayed the cycle of reload design. In order to shorten the designing time, release the pressure and improve the Nuclear Power Plant's benefits, it is important and has a good meaning to design an Automatic Reload Design Documents Form System (ARDDFS).This paper analyzed the technologic characters of the system. According to the research, three feasible schemes were provided. Linking to the actual conditions, the current popular model—C/S model was chosen. In the server, accepting requests from the clients was a daemon thread. In the client, through the COM interface, the data sending back from the serve were inserted into the word document. According to the model, the designment of the database, the server, the client and the network system was introduced in this paper. In the Oracle database, several tables were built to manage the character data. In the client, a good interface was provided for user; the database's tables and theirs records were managed; the automatical operations of word documents were realized; through the network, data were sent and received; the synchronization between the process of forming documents and communicating data was realized. In the server that has project documents, a daemon thread was used torespond the requests from clients. In the network, the socket —which based on the TCP/IP protocol was adopted, and in its application level, the rules for data encapsulation were defined.In the process of realization, the Socket technique was adopted in the network communication, the ADO technique in the management of database, the automation and COM technique in forming documents, and the Shell technique in the process of C language calling system commands.In the paper, the data's veracity of each document and the time taking were given, too.
