As an important domain of Computer Graphic Research, the technology of CGI (Computer Generated Image) is vastly used. The development of real-time visual simulation has entered the era of High Level Scene Management Software. Nowadays, there are kinds of Scene Management Software for commercial use. Some are popular, such as Multigen Vega, OpenGVS, Vtree, WTK and Open Inventor etc. Every kind of software has its own merits. Different companiy also have different policy (License for Developing, License for executing ) . The researching team author belongs to has developed Visual System of Navigation Simulator based on OpengGL and OpenGVS respectively. As planned, to give a compare, research work on other High Level Scene Management Software is needed to develop Visual System of Navigation Simulator for various requirements.As for visual system in simulating applications, 3-D modeling and scene graphic engine are indivisible parts. The 3-D modeling tool the team adopts is mainly Creator of Multigen corp. To follow a rational line, Vega is chosen as new research object. This paper gives an introduction on procedure of developing Vega application under MFC frame. Some difficulties confronted and ways out are listed. As an instance, the paper gives the key technology on writing visual driving applications of Navigation Simulator.In this paper, introduction of several software often used in the field of visual simulation are given. Taking the development of visual system in Navigation Simulator as example, the paper introduced the coordinate system and coordinate transformation between different software for 3D-modeling and scene management.As instance of special function, the way to achieve IR (Infra-Red) and night vision effects is introduced. Furthermore, the author gives simple introductions to some technologies used in simulating applications, such as 3D Stereo Rendering, mankind simulating. |
