The Preliminary Research On Design Of Landscape And Environment For College Town

In the end of 9 0 times, as the higher education of our country strides forward in a popular style, the quantity of new students is increasing constantly, the colleges' scale expand gradually. In order to improve the quality of higher education and accomplish the resource sharing, a number of new pattern communities which are concentrated mainly by colleges and supported by city appear gradually. They are aiming for resource sharing, mutual benefits of functions and incorporate of production, teaching and research. The appearance of the college town has not only promoted the development of the higher education industry at full speed, greatly strengthened integrative strength of the area where it locates, but also has broken the thought such as we always considered study , work , inhabitancy and entertainment are hard to coexist.However, with the further construction of college town, some problems exposed, which can't be ignored when making achievements. People gradually realized that a series of problems of landscape and environment which are caused by excessive and blind artificial exploitation in the area. Fortunately, the sustainable development theory and the achievements from landscape architecture, landscape ecology and science of environmental behavior have provided humans a new point of view to solve these problems of college town.This thesis is just supported by the research results mentioned above.It takes the problems of our country' s college town under construction as main breakthrough, such as image problem , ecology problem, culture problem and space problem. And it researches and puts forward the corresponding countermeasure for design of landscape and environment on the whole aspect. It tries hard to solve problems of landscape and environment for college town, and promotes it to positive development. Meanwhile, the "college town" is a special community that centred by many colleges. The college cell as the main function cell in college town plays an important role in college town. This thesis puts another emphasis on the point that how can each college outstand individual character among college town in the situation that the design of landscape and environment of the whole view is coordinated unified is another emphasis in this thesis.
