With the development of the standard of living, interiorscapes are gradually attached importance to by people. There are four reasons that make interiorscapes appear. First of all, today a lot of natural landscapes disappear. Secondly, the living burden is made heavier now. Thirdly, the rich pursue living quality at present. Finally, the science and technology develop rapidly. Then, it is a tendency that interiorscapes require designing systematically on the basis of ecology in the 21st century, when resources are increasingly using up and the environment is more and more deteriorating. There are 5 chapters in total except preface and epilogue. Chapter 1, the author mainly defines the concept of modern interiorscapes design on the basis of ecology. Chapter 2, the author not only refers the theory of Chinese traditional geomancy and sustainable development, but also the landscape ecology and the architecture ecology, in order to abstractly guide ecological design in modern interior landscapes. Chapter 3, the author mainly uses the ecological essence in Chinese traditional residential buildings and the buildings which are designed by architecture masters for reference, attempting to find out the method of ecological design in modern interior landscapes. Chapter 4 is the most important part of this thesis. The author generalizes six types of methods of ecological design in modern interior landscapes, which include reproducible energy resources utilization; water and life-form resources utilization, interiorscapes materials and construction, interior waterscape and virescence, interior environment quality, and formation of ecological cycle system. These kinds of methods also contain a series of concrete techniques. Chapter 5, the author analyses three projects to boost up the operation of the techniques. There is no full systematic theory, which regards ecological design in modern interior landscapes as an unattached sort of design. According to this thesis, the basal frame of modern interiorscapes design on the basis of ecology is primarily concluded. The author hopes to give you a more profound understanding of the method of ecological design in modern interior landscapes, expecting to enrich the theory of modern interiorscapes design on the basis of ecology and put into practice.
