Landscape Design Of Ecological Highways

This paper aims at landscape problems which exist in landscape design of highway in our country. Approaching to landscape design as a research starting point, defining the importance of Highway Landscape, combining with ecological principles, form and layout of highway and planting and how to plant use plant landscaping to achieve the ecological, environmental, green highway to conduct researches, it sums up the design methods of creating ecological and landscape highways.Firstly, the paper introduces the research progress and lists the outstanding foreign cases. It illustrates the concept, characteristics of the highway and design principles to be followed. It demonstrates the importance and specificity of Highway Landscape to lay a theoretical foundation for the researches of the subsequent chapters.Secondly, it puts forward the idea of ecological planning based on the analysis of ecological alignment and layout through an ecological point of view and advances the content and principles of landscape design based on the dynamic characteristics. It focuses on the highway alignment space design, visual safety design, environmental design and green design. There should be different degrees emphasis on the treatments of space, scale, color, planting and details of landscape to create an environment for people to enjoy the atmosphere and security under dynamic condition.Finally, taking Beihei Highway Landscape and Environmental Design for example, it describes the design steps of Highway Landscape from the virescence and Road Construction.
