With the rapid development of the Chinese water and electricity energy , especially of Cascade Hydropower energy, the requirement of automation , informationization to the hydroelectric power plant (stands ) and Cascade Hydropower Stations require higher and higher. but also to the thinking and mode of management of hydroelectric optimizing dispatching. In the Cascade Hydropower Stations what we need is not only the local control and disperse management every Hydropower Stations but also the overall high-level coordination management on the whole, and this requires the information be exchanged flexible and managed united. So, it is urgent to link every Hydropower Station with the network and to establish the Management Information System of Cascade Hydropower Stations under the network condition.First of all the main structure of the Management Information System of the Cascade Hydropower Stations was discussed in the paper, according to the analysis and comparing of the two system structure, at last, a new mold which is based on the combination of B/S mode and C/S mode was put forward, to the development flat roof of the MIS, and, the WAN among Cascade Hydropower Stations and the LAN Hydropower Station was designed, to realize the information integration and sharing. The paper expounds design and implementation of distributed database, olso, attaches great importance to the key technology of distributed database, that is, the coherence, the integrity of database. The thesis expounds the exploitation of its application program as well as the concrete realization of various functional modules. At last in the paper with researchful examples, realize the Management Information System of Cascade Hydropower Stations in the network of HEIHE> provides for the pledge of running sagely-, reliably and economically of HEIHE.
