AThe important future direction of energy development in china is transformation of the energy consumption mode, optimization of the energy structure layout,development the clean energy and the hydropower. The small hydropower is widely distributed in rural areas, making a great contribution to the economic and social development of our country. At the same time, the small hydropower is an important part of the development and utilization in hydropower resources. Optimized dispatching of small hydropower is an important means to improve the efficiency of using hydropower resources of small hydropower station. Optimized dispatching and unified management of the small cascade hydropower station, can improve the comprehensive benefits of cascade hydropower stations. This paper selects small cascade hydropower station as the research subject, aiming to study the optimal operation of small hydropower station in a systematic way, hoping to provide theory support and guidance for the development, operation and management of small cascade hydropower station.This paper first elaborates the background and significance of the research of the small cascade hydropower station optimal operation, summarizes the present research at home and abroad, research about the basic theories and models of cascade small hydropower optimal operation; At the same time based on the concept of global optimization, put forward the idea of integration of Cascade Hydropower plant scheduling, establishing an integrated scheduling model, and presents a simplified method for solving; finally the help of small hydropower system of Luoning cascade has been validated instance. The main contents are as follows:(1) To tap the reservoir optimal operation of cascade hydropower stations based on the basic theory of, discusses the role of leading reservoir in cascade small hydropower and cascade the characteristics of small hydropower joint optimization scheduling system is bibcock reservoir optimal operation, the joint optimization dispatching of cascade hydropower stations and hydropower stations optimization model of economic operation inside the plant.(2)According to the present results with plant operation optimization model ofthe actual circumstance, disconnect from the system optimization theory, puts forward the model of economic operation inside the plant to hydropower station and the coupling of the joint optimization scheduling model of cascade hydropower stations in thoughts, inside and outside the integrated scheduling model of cascade num power plant is established, and modeling steps were introduced in detail, the model can realize the global optimization of cascade small hydropower systems.(3) Combining with the composition character of integrated scheduling model,the extreme value theory is introduced into the preprocessing of "certainty", puts forward the solving method of hierarchical distribution, and expounds the solving thinking and steps in detail. Liable to occur this method is effective to avoid the solving process of "dimension disaster" and converges to local optimal solution, can realize the coupling calculating model is high precision, high efficiency, but also for large, complex constraints optimization decision problem provides a new thought and method.(4)The integration of plant scheduling model is simplified solved, making LUONING cascade for instance.The results show that the model established in this paper can better reflect the actual plant operating conditions and solving reasonable and feasible ideas and methods to solve practical results can guide the production of cascade hydropower stations.
