The Concrete Face Rock-fill Dam(CFRD) is favored day by day.But the creep deformation of the rock-fill body is rather distinct when CFRD is in use,therefore it has an obvious effect on the stress and strain state of the dam body, especially on that of the face. As present,studies related to this area are very few. In this paper, the 3D nonlinear FFM static analysis of CFRD was performed based on analyzing the constitutive models of rockfill and the principles of nonlinear FEM comprehensively.the paper studieson the creep deformation of the rock-fill body by using the knowledge of math, mechanics and theory of dam engineering. The paper also make comprehensively study on the three creep models of the rock-fill body and evaluates the practice of them comprehensively.In summary, the main contents are as following:1. 1.The author summarizes and compares constitutive model used in FEM analysis in CFRD. In order to rationally predicting the stress-strain behavior of CFRD, the theoretical and practical analysis on the constitutive models of rockfilled was performed. The guang-yi Duncan E-B model was applied in the stress-strain analysis of CFRD.2.According to the engineering Xia Liujia reservoir, three dimensions FEM analysis, the stress and strain about the dam are carried out, a comment about work character is obtained clearly, which will be used for the Xia Liujia design reference.3.The anaslysis of sensitivity have been considered to be one main methord in the solution to identification of many paramerters in many engineering. In this paper, in tne base on three dimensions FEM analysis, The anaslysis of sensitivity is finished.Thus some useful conclusions are drawn., which will be used for the Xia Liujia identification of many paramerters .4.Based on the rheology character of soil and stone, some rheology models is set forth. On this basis, constitutional equation of Merchant model and FEM are deduced. With the model, three dimensions FEM rheology analysis to Xia Liujia is finished, and the stress at different time distortion rule are gained, the long-term work character is forecast. Thus some useful conclusions are drawn.
