The Study On The Evaluation Of Residence Plan & Design Based On The AHP Method

The real estate industry has become one of the new economical increasing points in recent years. Booming of large-scale buildings and new residential areas brings along the great progress of housing development and design methodology.National Construction Department released Rules and Regulations for Construction Design Bidding in 2000. According to this law, assignment of building design right must go through bidding activities. Based on this law, the author looked up a large amount of materials and investigated plenty of living examples of domestic housing development. Analyzing the way of judging the design principle and planning methodology, this thesis proposed an AHP-based Judgment Method for Residential Area Planning. Main contributions of this thesis are as follows:1. This thesis reviewed the evolution of the methodology of residential area planning, summarized the leading principle, and discussed the development trend in the future.2. Based on the available relevant laws and regulations, this thesis analyzed the common methods of judging residential area planning by giving their pros and cons.3. This thesis made intensive investigation to the previous measurements for housing planning, and moreover, it established a new hierarchical model for measurement and judgment.4. This thesis discussed the weights of measurements in the judgment model and proved them using living examples. The advantages and disadvantages of the proposed method were discussed at the end.
