In the process of engineering construction, scheduling is an important work. It not only relate to construction condition, construction environment, resource allocation, technology level and etc. but also reciprocally relate, influence and restrict with construction quality control, cost control and so oaFurthermore, the duration of every activity in construction is almost infinite, which afiFect engineering schedule, therefore construction schedule has risk in the condition of specified time. Scientificly analysing and calculating the risk of construction schedule undoubtly have vital importance to resonable construction scheduling. The following are the main contents and achievements:(1) Analyse and summarise the basic theory and method in hydraulic engineering construction scheduling and emphasize the application of NPT in scheduling.(2) Define the "risk"according to the characters of scheduling; analyse the infinite factors that result in risks, discern the main factors and seek for the regularity of their changes.(3) Make a model of large hydraulic engineering construction schedule risk-estimation through sensitive analysis and look for proper method to resolve it ,develop and improve the calculation and application of schedule riak-estimation in large hydraulic engineering.(4) Take DongShen water-supply reform engineering as example, analyse the schedule risk of engineering construction ,test the role and significance of introducoing risk analysis, achieve pre-control and ensure the effectiveness of scheduling.
