The Research On Environmental Features Of Dwellings Of The Yao Nationality In Jianghua

Building environmental creation should trace back to the sources, combine the local natural environment, collect the traditionally distinctive features of the local national minorities and local history, culture local traits, incorporate the national intension of culture, strive to blaze a new trail in comply with the development of the times, carry forward the fine traditions of the local dwelling environment and display the features of the modern building environment as well.Taking the main settlement of the Yao nationality in Jianghua,Hunan province as research target, this paper aims at presenting a comparatively comprehensive and systematic description of the characteristics of the Yao nationality dwelling environment and suggesting to create a new building environment of Yao nationality through standing firmly in self culture, absorbing foreign cultures and wedding modern lifestyles.This paper consists of seven chapters. Chapter one puts forward the purpose, significance > theory and theoretical framework of this research ; Chapter two overviews the natural environment and humanity culture environment of Yao nationality in Jianghua residence; Chapter three chapter four chapter five analyzes the relationship between dwelling environment and natural environment in Yao nationality in Jianghua residence from the macro-scopic inner-scopic and micro-scopic perspective respectively,and summarize its characteristics ; Chapter six analyzes the relationship between dwelling environment and humanity culture environment of that Yao nationality in Jianghua, and summarize its features; Chapter seven compare the environmental features of dwelling between the Yao nationality in Jianghua and the Han nationality in Jianghua the Yao nationality in other region, the other nationality in southwest, Hunan province;Finally, in conclusion, the main characteristics of Yao nationality in Jianghua dwelling environment are summarized, and the ways and methods of inheriting and developing Yao nationality in Jianghua residence and of modern environment creation are proposed.It is an unshakeable responsibity for architects to avail the essence of traditional residents to construct modern residential environment with both local culture and national features. From the perspective of culture and building environment theories, this paper applies the sciences of human settlements in the analyze of the Yao nationality in Jianghua dwelling environment, summarizes itsfeatures and proposes the principles and methods of creating new Yao nationality dwelling environment creation newly. This research will benefit guiding of the environmental construction of Yao nationality settlements, and help to create the pleasant living environment for sustainable development in the construct design of human settlements as well.
